Senior Application Security Engineer (Java), VP

Join Citi as a Senior Application Security Engineer to drive the engineering and maintenance of critical authentication and security platforms. You will leverage your Java development, scripting, and deep expertise in multi-factor authentication to ensure the security and resilience of enterprise services. This role involves certifying new product releases, integrating modern security mechanisms, and migrating services to cloud-based platforms.

• Develop and maintain Java applications for authentication and security controls
• Implement and configure MFA/2FA, OTP, RADIUS, and other authentication protocols
• Automate operational tasks using Shell scripting
• Write and optimize SQL and PL-SQL scripts
• Support migration to containerized, cloud-based platforms (OpenShift)
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on security initiatives
