Senior AI Security Engineer

Vertex is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to safeguard our AI/ML systems. You will lead security reviews, assess AI-specific risks like prompt injection and data exposure, and develop mitigation strategies. This role requires deep technical expertise in AI stacks, cloud platforms, and Python for automation, with a focus on ensuring the security and integrity of our AI-driven products.

• 5+ years in security engineering, application security, or AI/ML security
• Hands-on experience securing AI/ML or LLM-based systems
• Assess AI-specific risks (prompt injection, data exposure, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python for security automation and evaluation
• Working knowledge of modern AI stacks and cloud platforms
• Familiarity with AI security frameworks (OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS)
