Cloud Security Engineer, AWS GovCloud

Apex Technology Inc is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments for U.S. government and DoD missions. This role focuses on protecting sensitive data in AWS, Azure, and hybrid clouds while ensuring compliance with federal standards like NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP.

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures in AWS GovCloud, Azure, and/or GCP
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, DoD IL-2/4/5, and RMF
• Configure and manage IAM, RBAC, and Zero Trust Architecture principles
• Engineer and deploy cloud-native security tools for threat detection and response
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security configuration reviews
• Develop and maintain System Security Plans and risk/compliance reporting
