Cyber Systems Engineer/Principal Cyber Systems Engineer

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Integration & Test department in San Diego, California. You will design, implement, and assess security controls, policies, and processes compliant with NSA programs and DoD frameworks like RMF and CMMC. This role involves providing advanced technical analysis of cyber infrastructure challenges and recommending system enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.

• Design, implement, and assess security controls compliant with NSA programs and DoD frameworks
• Participate in system security control assessments and document findings
• Provide advanced technical analysis of cyber infrastructure challenges and develop solutions
• Recommend and implement system enhancements for performance, reliability, and security
• Serve as a Cyber SME with expertise in COMSEC, EMSEC, OPSEC, and network architectures
• Maintain a DoD Secret clearance and possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
