Principal Network Security Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Principal Network Security Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise network security solutions. You will be instrumental in advancing our security architecture, improving segmentation, access control, and resiliency across a large, distributed network. This role requires technical leadership and subject matter expertise to drive strategic initiatives and mentor engineering teams.

• Design, engineer, and implement enterprise network security architecture
• Evaluate current security architecture, identify gaps, and develop improvement plans
• Lead network segmentation and secure connectivity efforts
• Design and implement network access control and device posture enforcement
• Advance zero-trust-aligned networking and micro-segmentation strategies
• Serve as senior technical authority and provide guidance to engineering teams

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
