Application Security Engineer

Vannevar, a defense technology company, seeks an Application Security Engineer to integrate security into their SaaS platform. You will collaborate with software and DevOps teams to implement threat modeling, automated security checks, and vulnerability response throughout the SDLC, ensuring data protection and compliance.

• Implement and deploy SAST, SCA, secrets-scan, DAST, and container/IaC checks in CI/CD
• Embed with development teams to run threat models and coach secure coding practices
• Drive a shift-left vulnerability detection program
• Coordinate with DevOps on application security issues
• Support incident response and feed lessons learned back into processes
• 5+ years in Application / Product Security
