About this role

Target is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Specialist in Bangalore to serve as the first line of defense in security operations. You will be responsible for triaging and validating security alerts, supporting incident response, and monitoring the security health of assigned service areas. This role involves collaborating with system owners and contributing to playbook improvements.

What we are looking for

Perform first-level triage and validation of security alerts using SIEM
Assist SOC team during high-severity incidents with initial data and containment
Monitor security health of assigned service areas using Capability Dashboards
Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of automated response playbooks
Communicate findings clearly and provide assistance for escalations
Create and maintain documentation for common alert types and procedures
