Senior Director - Product Security Engineering

Vertex is seeking a Senior Director of Product Security Engineering to lead and mature our enterprise product security program. You will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle, partner with engineering and product teams, and develop strategies for secure AI adoption. This role is crucial for driving measurable security outcomes and positioning Vertex to address emerging security challenges.

• Lead and mature Product and Application Security programs
• Embed security into SDLC and engineering workflows
• Develop secure software development strategies for cloud environments
• Establish security approaches for AI-enabled development and products
• Own and evolve the Security Champions Program
• Develop and communicate security program metrics to executive stakeholders
