Security Engineer II, Security Platform

Remitly is seeking an AI-forward Security Engineer to join our Security Platforms team. You will build and operate production services that make security the default path for engineers and AI agents. This role is ideal for builders who want to reinvent how security is delivered using cutting-edge AI and cloud technologies.

• Design, build, and operate production services for security platforms
• Automate security reviews and vulnerability triage with AI agents
• Build AI guardrails into tooling for secure adoption of new AI tools
• Run automation as audited production services with monitoring and on-call
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate security platform features
• Software engineering experience with Python or Golang and cloud-native infrastructure
