About this role
Cohere is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer to enhance our security posture by hardening cloud-native environments and automating security controls. You will be a key advisor, driving secure infrastructure-as-code practices and managing access controls to enable engineers to build and deploy securely at scale. This role involves responding to incidents, supporting compliance, and partnering with engineering teams to deliver practical, scalable security solutions.
What we are looking for 6
- Harden cloud-native environments (AWS, OCI, GCP) using secure-by-default controls
- Own and drive secure infrastructure-as-code modules and reusable code libraries
- Manage IAM/RBAC for cloud infrastructure and streamline authentication/authorization
- Deploy, integrate, and operationalize security platforms (SIEM, SOAR, etc.)
- Respond to security incidents and support compliance initiatives
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver practical, scalable security solutions
