Baseline Security Engineer, Lead

As a Lead Baseline Security Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the cybersecurity posture of a key government client. You will analyze adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, working across cloud, data engineering, and enterprise platforms. • Develop and customize security baselines using CIS and STIG benchmarks
• Apply NIST 800 Special Publication guidance for risk management
• Analyze system risks and identify security gaps from an adversary's perspective
• Monitor security environments for new and evolving threats
• Translate low-level security requirements into high-level FISMA and NIST requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to lock down systems and inform cybersecurity strategies

• Requires a Public Trust security clearance.
