Security Engineer – AWS Security Incident Response, Cloud Security, AI Security, EDR & SIEM

Alcon is seeking a mid-level Security Engineer to join their Cyber Incident Response and Threat Management team in Bangalore. This role focuses on AWS cloud security, SIEM monitoring, EDR/XDR operations, and addressing emerging AI security risks. You will investigate and respond to security alerts, manage incidents, and collaborate with various teams to enhance threat detection and overall security posture.

• Investigate and respond to security alerts across cloud, endpoint, identity, and email environments
• Manage security incidents from triage to lessons learned
• Monitor and investigate AWS security alerts and misconfigurations
• Develop and tune SIEM use cases using Microsoft Sentinel
• Investigate EDR/XDR alerts using Microsoft Defender XDR
• Support security monitoring and investigation of AI-related risks
