Engr IV-Security Engineering

Join Verizon's Cyber Security team as a Security Engineer to lead our Red Team and Adversary Simulation efforts. You will rigorously test our defenses against advanced threats, focusing on emulating real-world adversaries and improving our security posture. This role requires a builder-hacker mindset, leveraging modern software engineering practices to drive offensive operations and collaborate with development teams for enhanced resilience.

• Design and execute complex Red Team campaigns using MITRE ATT&CK
• Target modern architectures, AI ecosystems, and cloud environments
• Validate cyber hygiene and compliance by exposing systemic failures
• Leverage generative AI for offensive operations and vulnerability research
• Test detection and response capabilities with stealthy methodologies
• Drive Purple Teaming through collaboration with development teams
