Asana is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their new Security Development team in San Francisco. This role focuses on building secure-by-default platforms and frameworks to protect Asana's infrastructure and product, empowering engineering teams to move quickly and safely. You will engineer preventative controls at scale and eradicate systemic risks.

What we are looking for

Design, build, and maintain secure frameworks, libraries, and platforms
Engineer core security services like access control and secrets management
Develop platform for vulnerability remediation and create remediation tooling
Partner with teams to implement foundational security controls for cloud infrastructure
Influence engineering initiatives through design reviews and security principle communication
4+ years of software development experience with a focus on security engineering
