Senior Product Cybersecurity Engineer – Secure Product Architecture

As a Senior Product Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be instrumental in safeguarding General Motors' in-vehicle systems and software-defined vehicle platforms. You will own and evolve the security design for critical components like gateways, diagnostics, and unlock capabilities, translating threat assessments into robust security requirements and policies. This role requires a deep understanding of embedded security principles and the ability to collaborate across diverse engineering and supplier teams to ensure secure implementation.

• Own and evolve security design for in-vehicle systems, gateways, and diagnostics
• Translate threat assessments into testable security requirements and policies
• Define and maintain security policies for communication paths and trust boundaries
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and supplier teams for secure implementation
• Lead security design and implementation reviews
• 6+ years of experience in product, embedded, or automotive cybersecurity
