About this role
As a Senior Manufacturing Cybersecurity Resident Engineer, you will be the primary cybersecurity partner for a GM plant, implementing and maintaining the cybersecurity program. You will identify and remediate vulnerabilities, support incident response, and collaborate with various teams to reduce risk without impacting production. This hands-on role requires independent judgment and strong execution to ensure secure and resilient manufacturing operations.
What we are looking for
6- Implement and sustain the Manufacturing Cybersecurity Program at assigned plant
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate endpoint security issues and vulnerabilities
- Support cybersecurity incident response, investigations, and recovery activities
- Conduct cybersecurity readiness assessments for new initiatives and operations
- Partner with plant operations, IT, cybersecurity, and suppliers to implement controls
- Apply patching and firmware updates for production-critical equipment and OT assets
