Cyber Security Engineer

Northwestern Mutual is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer in Milwaukee, WI to administer and maintain network security infrastructure, including firewalls and VPNs. You will manage secure connectivity solutions, provide Tier 3 support for over 10,000 users, and ensure the security of hybrid cloud environments. This role involves incident management, vendor collaboration, and developing automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.

• Administer and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Zscaler SWG
• Design and implement secure connectivity solutions (VPNs, encryption)
• Provide Tier 3 cybersecurity and network support for 10,000+ users
• Manage security for hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Collaborate with architects, SOC, and incident responders
