Application Security Engineer - Penetration Testing Quality Assurance

We are seeking an Application Security Engineer to ensure the quality and accuracy of penetration testing reports for our applications and APIs. In this role, you will independently review findings, validate risk ratings, and guide application teams through the remediation process. You will collaborate with penetration testers and stakeholders to uphold reporting standards and enhance overall testing quality.

• Perform final quality reviews of penetration test reports
• Validate technical accuracy, exploitability, and business impact of findings
• Review and calibrate severity ratings using CVSS and other factors
• Provide risk-based remediation guidance and track findings through closure
• Maintain quality standards and recommend process improvements
• Support Burp Suite and Snyk operations
