Senior Security Engineer

OutSystems is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Security Operations Center (SOC) in Lisbon, Portugal. This hands-on role involves implementing, tuning, and maintaining security controls across multi-cloud infrastructure, focusing on detection engineering and security tooling to defend digital assets. You will collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security best practices and evaluate new security technologies.

• Implement and operate security engineering across on-premise, multi-cloud, and SaaS environments
• Deploy, configure, and maintain security infrastructure (SIEM, EDR, logging, monitoring)
• Apply and enforce security architecture and standards for cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications
• Engineer, implement, and tune detection and response for continuous threat detection
• Partner with product engineering, DevOps, and QA to embed security best practices
• Evaluate and adopt new security tools and techniques
