About this role
UCF is seeking a senior Network Security Engineer Lead to architect, design, and implement enterprise network security services. This hands-on technical leadership role involves shaping security architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving improvements across a complex technology environment. You will be a key resource for network access control, Zero Trust initiatives, and incident response.
What we are looking for
6- Lead network security architecture, design, and implementation
- Expertise in Network Access Control (NAC), 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+
- Experience with Zero Trust, micro-segmentation, and firewalls
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams
- Troubleshoot complex security incidents and perform root-cause analysis
- Hands-on technical leadership without direct reports
