About this role

Vertex is seeking a Senior AI Security Engineer to safeguard our AI/ML and LLM systems. You will lead security reviews, identify AI-specific risks like prompt injection and data exposure, and develop mitigation strategies. What we are looking for

5+ years in security engineering, AI/ML, or architecture
Hands-on experience securing AI/ML or LLM systems
Assess AI-specific risks (prompt injection, data exposure, etc.)
Proficiency in Python for security automation
Experience with modern AI stacks and cloud platforms
Familiarity with AI security frameworks (OWASP, MITRE ATLAS, NIST)
