Lead, AI Security Engineer

Mastercard is seeking a Lead AI Security Engineer to design, implement, and enhance security for AI systems and platforms. You will collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and security teams to assess risks, guide secure design, validate controls, and integrate security into AI development and deployment.

• Design and implement secure AI architectures and reference patterns
• Evaluate AI technologies for security risks and recommend mitigations
• Lead security assessments and penetration testing for AI models and LLM applications
• Define and apply security best practices across the AI development lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship on AI security topics
• Research emerging AI security threats and develop defensive capabilities
