About this role

YipitData is seeking a Product Security Engineer to integrate security into their products and services. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, conduct threat modeling and security reviews, and implement fixes to prevent vulnerabilities from reaching production. This hands-on role requires a strong understanding of modern application development, system architecture, and security tooling.

What we are looking for

Partner with Engineering and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle
Assess new products and technologies, lead threat modeling and security design reviews
Identify and validate vulnerabilities, and help teams implement practical fixes
Review system architecture, analyze vulnerabilities, and work directly with engineers
Improve security tools embedded in development pipelines (SAST, DAST, etc.)
Build automation to keep pace with product and team growth
