Senior Lead Security Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Senior Lead Security Engineer to be the technical authority for a strategic cybersecurity task order. You will design, integrate, and maintain security tools and architecture for enterprise systems and networks, ensuring security, functionality, and scalability. This role requires strong analytical judgment and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

• Serve as the primary technical authority and mentor for the engineering team
• Lead complex security projects and define system security requirements for FISMA and FedRAMP compliance
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies for data, applications, and cloud infrastructure
• Oversee deployment and integration of Qualys and Wraithwatch agents with SIEM/SOAR tools
• Optimize vulnerability management and AI solutions, including automated workflows
• Configure cloud-hosted SaaS security solutions and manage AWS network security resources

• Requires a Public Trust security clearance.
