Associate Software Engineer - Vulnerability Assessment

SEL is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Government Services Department in Pullman, WA. This role focuses on conducting white and black box testing to identify security flaws and vulnerabilities in devices and software, providing recommendations for improved cybersecurity. The position involves staying updated on current security threats and mitigation strategies.

• Conduct white and black box testing for security flaws
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend cybersecurity improvements
• Stay updated on current security vulnerabilities and mitigation processes
• Participate in firmware/software system design, implementation, and testing
• Collaborate with Hardware Engineers on hardware/software interactions
• Prepare and maintain design and test documentation
