Principal Cybersecurity Engineer

As a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer at Syniverse, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and supporting robust security implementations for our Windows Server and endpoint environments. This role involves owning security architecture, driving compliance through automation, and mentoring fellow engineers to ensure the highest quality security standards.

• Own security architecture and hardening for Windows Server and endpoints, including Active Directory
• Design and maintain secure baseline configurations using CIS Benchmarks and configuration management
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) for security operations and remediation
• Implement and operate Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) controls
• Build and tune Splunk detections, searches, and dashboards for Windows security telemetry
• Mentor other security engineers and act as a technical escalation point
