Sr. Kubernetes Security Engineer

Axos is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Security Engineer & AI Automation Engineer to build an AI-native security organization. You will own pod-level network microsegmentation and cluster security posture, while developing AI agents to automate container security tasks. This role focuses on designing and enforcing least-privilege communication, building AI-powered agents to reduce manual effort, and delivering robust segmentation and runtime protection.

• Design and implement pod-level network microsegmentation
• Enforce Kubernetes NetworkPolicies and service mesh/CNI policies
• Harden Kubernetes clusters end-to-end (RBAC, admission controllers, etc.)
• Implement container image scanning, signing, and runtime protections
• Develop AI agents to automate security workflows and policy generation
• Act as subject-matter expert for microsegmentation and container security
