Senior Director, Security Engineering

Lead a team of Security Engineers to secure Ripple's products, infrastructure, and corporate IT systems, defining security strategy and fostering a company-wide security culture. This hands-on role involves ensuring the secure use of AI tooling and agentic workflows, and requires deep technical understanding.

• Set strategic vision and roadmap for Security Engineering team, focusing on product, infrastructure, and IT security, including AI security
• Serve as security domain expert, communicating risks and concepts to senior leadership and engineering teams
• Define guardrails for AI agents and tools, including scope boundaries and rollback mechanisms
• Implement agentic SDLC guardrails, testing gates, and human oversight for AI-assisted development
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security engineers
• Drive security guideline implementation across the engineering organization
