R&D Cyber Security Engineer - IN MACH - India Development Centre

Hitachi Energy is seeking an R&D Cyber Security Engineer to join their MACH™ team in Chennai, India. This role focuses on integrating cybersecurity practices throughout the product lifecycle, conducting risk assessments, threat modeling, and ensuring compliance with industrial cybersecurity standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into product architecture and evaluate security solutions for control systems.

• Integrate cybersecurity into product design and development
• Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling
• Handle identified vulnerabilities
• Ensure compliance with IEC 62443, Nerc-Cip, CRA
• Implement system and product hardening
• Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity solutions
