Application Security Specialist

Barclays is seeking a Lead Application Security Specialist to safeguard the bank's technology landscape. This role involves leading the evaluation and enhancement of application security and DevSecOps capabilities, translating security testing data into actionable insights, and embedding controls across the software development lifecycle.

• Lead evaluation and enhancement of Application Security and DevSecOps capabilities
• Translate multi-layered security-testing data into actionable risk insights
• Embed proportionate controls across the software development lifecycle
• Partner with engineering, risk, and governance stakeholders
• Experience with SAST, SCA, DAST, API security, and AI-assisted security testing
• Integrate application security testing into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments
