About this role
As an SRE Security Engineer, you will take ownership of security findings from detection to resolution, actively remediating misconfigurations and vulnerabilities across cloud and identity platforms. You will work hands-on within AWS, Azure, GCP, GitHub, Okta, and Active Directory to drive issues to closure, rather than simply tracking tickets. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between security reporting and actual remediation, ensuring a more secure operational environment.
What we are looking for 6
- End-to-end remediation of security findings across cloud and identity platforms
- Triage and validation of security findings, prioritizing based on risk
- Hands-on remediation in AWS, Azure, GCP, GitHub, Okta, and Active Directory
- Core SRE fundamentals including Linux/Unix, networking, and IaC
- Daily use of AI assistants for investigation and remediation
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for urgent security alerts
