Senior Manager, Privacy Engineering

Lead the Privacy Engineering team to build and scale privacy infrastructure and technical controls across Upstart's AI lending marketplace. You will define the team's roadmap, mentor privacy engineers, and translate regulatory requirements into robust engineering systems.

• Lead Privacy Engineering team strategy, roadmap, and execution
• Hire, coach, and develop privacy engineers
• Guide design and delivery of scalable privacy controls
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Security, Product, Data, and ML teams
• Oversee privacy reviews, risk assessments, and threat modeling
• Define metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders
