IT Security Operations Analyst

AlertMedia is seeking an IT Security Analyst to join their Information Security team. This entry-level role involves monitoring the environment for threats, investigating and remediating security incidents like phishing and account compromises, and performing monthly user access audits. You will work with tools like Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, supporting SOC 2 and ISO certifications, and have opportunities to grow into more advanced security responsibilities.

• Monitor Microsoft Defender and Sentinel for security alerts and triage them
• Investigate and remediate phishing emails and suspected account compromises
• Conduct monthly reviews of user accounts and access rights
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits by gathering evidence
• Assist with identity and access management tasks
• Contribute to security playbooks and standard operating procedures
