Security Architecture and Application Security Senior Manager

Lead security architecture and application security for a portfolio of complex technology initiatives within BBVA CIB US. This hands-on role involves partnering with engineering and business teams to review architectures, identify risks, define requirements, and ensure controls are implemented from design through production.

• Perform security architecture reviews and threat modeling for applications, APIs, cloud, and infrastructure
• Evaluate architecture patterns for authentication, authorization, IAM, encryption, and data protection
• Own the security workstream for multiple concurrent technology initiatives
• Manage and prioritize security engagements based on risk and timelines
• Assess proposed architectures for alignment with BBVA security standards and U.S. regulatory requirements
• Provide delegated Security Architecture and Application Security support for local initiatives
