Systems Security Engineer, Officer

State Street is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to join their Cyber Architecture & Engineering team in Hyderabad. This role focuses on implementing and enforcing secure configuration baselines, hardening systems, and developing automation solutions to protect the company's digital footprint across cloud and on-premises environments. You will collaborate with various engineering teams to embed security into operational processes and strengthen the organization's security posture.

• Implement and enforce security configuration best practices
• Establish secure baseline configurations for IT assets
• Develop custom hardening and monitoring solutions using Chef Inspec and scripting
• Conduct risk assessments based on NIST framework
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and platform teams to embed security
• Leverage automation, scripting, and compliance-as-code tools
