About this role

As a Lead Cybersecurity Detection Engineer, you will be a senior technical leader on our Detection Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced detection capabilities across Cox Automotive's diverse portfolio. You will architect AI-driven detection agents and automation, mentor other engineers, and collaborate closely with Incident Response and Threat Intelligence to strengthen our cyber defenses.

What we are looking for

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of advanced enterprise detection capabilities
Architect and deploy AI-driven detection agents and multi-agent frameworks
Develop self-improving detection systems and custom detection rules
Leverage SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and threat intelligence for advanced threat detection
Collaborate with Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Management teams
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to detection engineers
