About this role

Alarm.com is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to identify and mitigate security risks within their IoT device ecosystem. This role involves hands-on penetration testing, reverse engineering, and security research on complex IoT challenges. You will also document security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards.

What we are looking for

Perform IoT penetration testing, firmware extraction, and vulnerability discovery
Conduct security research, analysis, and testing across various platforms
Assess risks and circumvent security mechanisms using manual and automated techniques
Oversee deployment and integration of security solutions for IoT infrastructure
Test, triage, and drive remediation of reported security issues
Partner with stakeholders to minimize security and privacy risks
