About this role

Asana is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their new Security Development team. This role focuses on building secure-by-default platforms and frameworks to protect Asana's infrastructure and product, empowering engineering teams to move quickly and safely. You will engineer preventative controls at scale and eradicate systemic risks.

What we are looking for

Design, build, and maintain secure-by-default frameworks, libraries, and platforms
Engineer and improve core security services like access control and secrets management
Develop and own the platform for vulnerability remediation
Partner with product and infrastructure teams on foundational security controls
Influence engineering initiatives through design reviews and security principles
4+ years of experience in software development with a focus on security engineering
