Hardware and Firmware Security Research Engineer

HP is seeking an experienced hardware and firmware research engineer to join its Security Lab. This role focuses on researching and designing security architecture for future endpoint devices, pushing the boundaries of hardware-firmware co-design for security and next-generation platform roots of trust. You will collaborate with systems security engineers, develop prototypes, and engage with business units to identify innovation opportunities.

• Research and design security architecture for future endpoint devices
• Develop and prototype new hardware and firmware security technologies
• Analyze technology and threat trends to inform security roadmaps
• Collaborate with systems security research engineers and business units
• Experience with hardware and firmware technologies (x86, ARM, UEFI, PCIe, DMA)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
