About this role

As a Principal Cybersecurity leader, you will translate Hut 8's security strategy into secure architecture and operational capabilities. You will design and implement defense-in-depth security across various environments, establish secure architecture patterns, and lead the implementation of core security functions. This role requires deep technical expertise and the ability to prioritize risk in a fast-paced organization.

What we are looking for

Design and implement security architecture across identity, network, cloud, endpoint, and OT environments
Lead implementation of core security capabilities like SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management
Improve identity and access controls, including MFA, SSO, and privileged access
Partner with engineering teams to secure integrations, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security governance programs
5+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience with a focus on security architecture and engineering
