Staff+ Security Engineer, Core Command

Verkada is seeking a Staff+ Security Engineer to join the Core Command team in San Mateo, CA. This role involves embedding within the engineering team to conduct threat modeling, security design reviews, and enhance security tools throughout the SDLC. You will define the security roadmap and enhance core security services for the Verkada Command platform.

• Perform threat models and security design reviews
• Refine security tools for SDLC
• Define security roadmap, requirements, and priorities
• Enhance core security services (Authentication, Authorization, Users, Roles, Audit)
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams
• Create and operate a bug bounty program
