Staff Security Engineer, Enterprise Security Operations

Aurora Innovation is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to join their Enterprise Security Operations team. This role focuses on the operational health, configuration, and continuous improvement of the company's enterprise security platform stack, including EDR/XDR, SIEM, and IAM tools. The ideal candidate is an elite security operator with deep technical expertise in security platforms and a proven ability to tune and optimize them for effective threat detection and response.

• Own operational health and continuous improvement of enterprise security platforms
• Develop and refine detection rules and correlation logic
• Conduct proactive threat hunting across security telemetry
• Serve as the deepest internal expert on enterprise security tooling
• Participate in on-call rotation for security incident investigations
• Audit and validate security control effectiveness
