About this role

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to modernize its Security Operations center. This role focuses on evolving incident investigation and response technology, building and operationalizing automation, AI-augmented workflows, and analyst tooling. You will work closely with SOC and DFIR teams to design, build, and maintain SOAR playbooks, AI-driven response capabilities, and various security tools.

What we are looking for

Design, build, test, and maintain SOAR playbooks for incident triage and response
Build and operationalize AI-augmented response capabilities including agentic AI workflows
Develop prompt books and prompt libraries tuned for SOC and Incident Response use cases
Define strategic requirements for connectors and integrations between security platforms
Build and maintain response tooling, scripts, and automation utilities
Embed with SOC and DFIR analysts to automate high-toil workflows
