About this role
As a Principal Security Platforms Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert for our Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM platform and associated security operations technologies. You will lead the strategic evolution, architecture, engineering, and automation of our security platforms, providing technical leadership and mentorship to our teams. This role combines security architecture, engineering, detection, and automation to ensure our platform continuously evolves to meet managed security services, threat detection, and incident response needs.
What we are looking for 6
- Lead architecture, roadmap, and strategic evolution of Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM and other security platforms
- Design and maintain multi-tenant service architecture for managed security services
- Drive platform architecture reviews, scalability, performance, and cost optimization
- Develop and automate SOC/security services platforms and integrations
- Provide L4 escalation support for complex platform issues and vendor engagement
- Mentor Platform, Detection, and SOC Engineers and Analysts
