RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer to join their team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role focuses on developing and implementing security solutions for aerospace and defense systems, ensuring compliance with RMF and STIGs. You will perform vulnerability assessments, troubleshoot Linux systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity requirements.

• Develop and implement RMF artifacts and security control validation
• Perform vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Implement and validate security improvements using STIGs
• Provide Linux systems administration and cybersecurity support
• Troubleshoot Linux OS and network communication issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cybersecurity requirements
