AVP, Cloud Security Automation Engineer (L10)

Synchrony is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Automation Engineer to enhance cloud security governance. You will build and operate automation using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD tools to enforce compliance, improve security controls, and enable secure cloud deployments. This role involves partnering with DevOps and application teams to integrate security principles into their processes.

• Build and maintain cloud security automation using IaC and CI/CD tooling
• Automate AWS security compliance enforcement and policy checks
• Implement automated detection and remediation for cloud misconfigurations
• Develop reusable security templates and automation frameworks
• Partner with DevOps and application teams for security guidance
• 3+ years of experience in IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD automation
