Engineering Manager, Security Detection & Response

Lead Apollo.io's Security Detection & Response team, building and scaling systems to detect threats and automate responses at startup speed. This hands-on leadership role involves coaching engineers, making rapid decisions, and staying technically involved in a fully remote environment.

• Lead and grow a remote Security Detection & Response team
• Ship detection systems, automations, and investigation tools rapidly
• Define and evolve security detection strategy and MITRE ATT&CK alignment
• Oversee Panther detections and AI-assisted workflows
• Drive Python-based tooling and CI/CD for detection content
• Own end-to-end security observability and lead incident response
