SSH & Machine Identity Engineer

State Street is seeking a Senior SSH & Machine Identity Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise SSH capabilities, including SSH Certificate Authority and key lifecycle management. This role involves driving automation, defining standards, and aligning SSH governance with broader machine identity and cryptographic services strategies across the organization.

• Lead engineering and implementation of enterprise SSH Certificate Authority
• Define SSH certificate, key lifecycle, trust, and access patterns
• Drive SSH key discovery, ownership mapping, remediation, and lifecycle governance
• Develop automation for SSH certificate issuance, rotation, revocation, and reporting
• Align SSH capabilities with machine identity management, PKI, and crypto operations strategies
• Support vaults/secrets management integration points
