About this role

Leidos is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Monitoring Engineer to support the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) CyberPRIMES program. This role involves monitoring enterprise cybersecurity tools, assessing their health and effectiveness, identifying gaps, and providing recommendations to improve the organization's security posture. The position requires supporting troubleshooting efforts and developing metrics to provide visibility into tool health and compliance.

What we are looking for

Monitor DHRA cybersecurity posture using government-mandated tools
Support Tier 3 and shared Tier 2 cybersecurity monitoring and troubleshooting
Validate cybersecurity tool configuration, deployment, and compliance
Identify gaps, missing coverage, and configuration issues
Develop cybersecurity monitoring metrics and analyze trends
Recommend cybersecurity tool enhancements and process improvements
