Principal Cloud Security Engineer

Echo Global Logistics is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Engineer to build secure-by-default AWS platform patterns. This hands-on role involves creating reusable Terraform modules, policy-as-code, and deployment guardrails to enable engineering teams to adopt secure practices at scale. You will raise the security floor through code, ensure control integrity, and shape cloud guardrails and logging standards.

• Design and implement secure-by-default AWS platform patterns in multi-account environments
• Build reusable Terraform modules, policy-as-code, and infrastructure delivery patterns
• Partner with Platform and Architecture to establish security account, logging, and identity patterns
• Implement and tune Service Control Policies and preventive controls
• Establish logging integrity protections and detection coverage
• Define cloud telemetry standards for security-relevant events
